Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Something good is going to happen to you today! Christmas is two days away! Whether you are staying at home, traveling, working or on vacation, I pray that you have a wonderful holiday.

As we read through Isaiah 9, we see wonderful titles of Jesus. He truly is the Prince of Peace. Through His birth, life, sacrifice, and resurrection, He brought us peace with God. Because we have peace with God, we can also receive the peace of God. The peace of God is a fruit of the Spirit that resides in our spirits. In addition to being a wonderful fruit of the Spirit, the peace of God can also guard our hearts and mind and lead us into the future God has for us.

The angels announced direction to the Shepherds. The Magi followed the Star. God has given you His peace to lead you. In this season, don’t be overwhelmed with anxiety, worry, or stress. Don’t be led by panic. Choose to be led by peace.

As Colossians 3:15 says, “And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].” (AMPC)

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I believe you love me extravagantly and you have great plans for my life. I thank you for what you have prepared for me in 2025. Help me to be led by your peace and not be led panic. I thank you that your peace guards my heart and mind. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
