See Yourself As Forgiven

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

Psalm 103:1-3 (NKJV)

Good Morning!

God has forgiven you! One of the first benefits listed in Psalm 103 is that God forgives all of your iniquities. 1st John 1:9 says that, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

You are forgiven, but do you see yourself that way? Too many Christians see themselves as “old sinners.” That’s not who you are!

In today’s podcast devotional on YouTube, Apple Podcast, or Spotify, I build on the thought that forgiveness is a financial term and why you have to see yourself as forgiven. If you see yourself as forgiven, you think and live differently. When you see yourself as forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Jesus, you are able to effectively use your faith and face life overflowing with hope.

Jesus’ blood washed away all of your sins. His blood accomplished a wonderful work in your life! We need to “make much of” because the blood has made much of us.

On Sunday, I challenged my Faith family to take communion every day until September 15th. To learn why and see the benefits that it will bring your life, watch Sunday’s Faith Experience. I would love for you to join us in taking communion every day. I will be continuing this important message tonight at 7pm during our Midweek Bible Study. Stream it tonight, take communion with us, and grow in the understanding of what it truly means to have a covenant with God. Have a great day!
