Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!

He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

But He was speaking here of the Spirit, Whom those who believed (trusted, had faith) in Him were afterward to receive. For the [Holy] Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified (raised to honor).

Good Morning,

This is going to be a great week for you! Did you know that God wants rivers of living, glorious water to flow from you? A river brings life wherever it flows. A river can change the environment and landscape of where it flows. In the same way, your life is designed to change the places you visit and frequent.

As we covered on Faith in the Morning over the last few weeks, God has placed His glory on the inside of you. The glory is for more than your enjoyment. This glory enables you to be the light of this world and make a difference in this world.

As you go throughout your week, know these three things:

1. You have purpose

2. There are rivers of life flowing from you

3. Your best is yet to come

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I thank you for loving me. I believe in you, your love, and your plan for my life. This week, I pray that you help me grow in understanding concerning the rivers of life that you want to flow from me. Help me bring needed positive change in the world around me. I love you. Thank you for first loving me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
