A Quick Word To Start Your Day ❤️

God loves you so much!

Recently, my family and I were taking a walk around our neighborhood. My husband and I were discussing different yard projects we needed to complete at our house. As we discussed the projects, we focused on a certain plant that had deep roots and would take more effort to remove. The discussion reminded me of what the Bible teaches us about being rooted in God’s Word.

Psalms 1:1-6 (NLT) says, “Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. For the LORD watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.”

Let’s endeavor to be people of the Word by reading God’s Word every day and applying it to our lives. This is the path to becoming rooted in God’s Word and enjoying the blessings of Psalm 1.

Pray this prayer with me, “Father, I thank you for loving me and for being with me. Thank you for watching over my path. Help me to become a person of the Word so I can enjoy the benefits of Psalm 1. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
