I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

One of the wonderful covenant names of God is that He is the God Who Is More Than Enough. He’s not an almost God. He’s not just enough. He’s more than enough. He is the Almighty God.

Over the last few weeks, we have been reviewing Psalm 37:3. When we think of the phrase “feed on His faithfulness” in Psalm 37:3, we should remember that the Children of Israel were dwelling in the promise land. Every harvest and good thing they experienced in that land was a result of God being faithful to His covenant promises that He made with their fathers.

The Passion Translation of Psalm 37:3 says, “Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness.” We can feast on His faithfulness. As I have shared this week, when I think of feasting, I think of holiday meals, special occasions, and summer barbecues.

At all of the events and meals, there is more than enough food. There is so much food that people leave with to go plates and enjoy the food for a couple of days afterward. That’s a perfect picture of the faithfulness and goodness of God.

I truly believe God doesn’t want us to have “just enough.” Why? Because He is the God Who Is More Than Enough and He wants His children to have more than enough. Do you remember the story of when the Children of Israel received manna from heaven in the wilderness?

It wasn’t just enough. It definitely was not a small amount. It was more than enough for everyone to get all they needed and desired. God rained down manna for them every single day, except for the Sabbath. On the day before the Sabbath, they gathered twice as much. Why? He is More Than Enough, He loved them, and He wanted them to rest on the Sabbath.

God wants you to feast on His provision today. If He provided in the wilderness for the Children of Israel, know that He wants to provide for you as well. He wants you to overflow with His goodness so that you have a life that you enjoy that impacts others. I share more about this important topic on today’s podcast.
