Good Morning!

Yesterday, we shared how you can jump into the cycle of favor for your life. Favor should not be a rare occurrence in your life. God’s favor should manifest in a repeating and cyclical way throughout your life. In today’s devotional, we’ll share another important step in the cycle of favor.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)

It is important to acknowledge God in all we do. It is also important to acknowledge His promises and the spiritual realities they make available in our lives. If you want to live in the cycle of favor, you need to make acknowledging the favor of God your daily habit. 

You should daily acknowledge God’s favor in at least two ways: through affirmation and recognition. Affirmation or confession is speaking God’s promise over your life. Here’s a favor confession I say over my life that you can use as well. “The favor of God surrounds me as a shield, therefore before people encounter me, they encounter the favor of God. The favor of God goes before me and prospers my way. The favor of God goes before me and opens doors for me that no one can close. The favor of God goes before me and causes my harvest to come to me speedily.” I regularly talk about God’s favor on my life because it reminds me of the spiritual reality created by God’s promise, it renews my mind, it builds my confidence, and it releases my faith. In tomorrow’s newsletter, we’ll share about the importance of recognizing God’s favor and what that will do for your life.

We are in this journey of better understanding favor together.  As we grow in understanding and application, I know we will see the marvelous results of God’s favor in our lives. Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for your favor. I believe it surrounds me as a force field. Lord, help us grow in understanding of your favor so that we can live in the cycle of favor. I ask that you show us how we all can be wise stewards of your favor. Your favor makes the difference in our lives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
