Good Morning!

There are many benefits available for you because you belong to God and follow Him. In Psalm 103:2, David tells us not to forget all of God’s wonderful benefits that He has for us. The first benefit listed is that God forgives all of our iniquities.

If you would ask believers if God has forgiven them, the large majority would declare, “Yes, He has!” Even though we know that core truth of the Gospel, how many of us actually live like we are forgiven?

In today’s podcast devotional on YouTube, Apple Podcast, or Spotify, I share how forgiveness is a financial term. In the same way someone cancels a person’s loans or debts, God has cancelled our sins. We do not have to pay for our sins. Jesus paid the price for us. Since Jesus paid the price for us, we need to live like we are forgiven. Too many Believers live with a sin-consciousness and have an underlying mentality that they have to pay God back and make themselves worthy.

Jesus’ blood washed away your sins and made you worthy to stand in the presence of our holy God. Live like it. When we live like we are forgiven, we interact with others and face life with mercy, hope, great joy, and extreme gratitude towards God.
