For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of Light [lead the lives of those native-born to the Light].

For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or ^[a]the Spirit [consists] in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life.

And try to learn [in your experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [let your lives be constant proofs of what is most acceptable to Him].

Good Morning!

Ephesians 5 teaches us that the Holy Spirit is producing in us and through us every form of kindly goodness. Philippians 2:13 says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” (NLT) God is at work in you right now! You know those areas of your life that seem hard to get right? God is working to help you get it right and to help you grow.

You’re not going to be stuck where you are forever. You are not going to be the way you are forever, so stop thinking and saying that you are stuck the way you are. There is another level for you to go to and a greater place for you to grow to. In your progression, you’ll experience more of the wonderful life God has for you and you will able to be a blessing to many more people. It’s time for all of us to level up.

Pray this prayer with me, “Father, I thank you for loving me and for being with me. Help me to develop a philanthropic heart. Help me to level up today. I make myself available for you to be good to others through me. I believe that you are working in me to produce every form of kindly goodness. Thank you for helping me to do what is right. Thank you for being so good to me! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
