I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Good Morning,

Happy Wednesday! Over the last few weeks, we have been reviewing Psalm 37:3. When we think of the phrase “feed on His faithfulness” in Psalm 37:3, we should remember that the Children of Israel were dwelling in the promise land. Every harvest and good thing they experienced in that land was a result of God being faithful to His covenant promises that He made with their fathers.

The Passion Translation of Psalm 37:3 says, “Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness.” We can feast on His faithfulness. When I think of feasting, I think of holiday meals, special occasions, and summer barbecues.

At all of the events and meals, there is more than enough food. There is so much food that people leave with to go plates and enjoy the food for a couple of days afterward. That’s a perfect picture of the faithfulness and goodness of God. Remember, one of God’s covenant names in the Scripture is the God Who Is More Than Enough. He is not the almost God. He is not the just enough God. He is the God Who Is More Than Enough.

I truly believe God doesn’t want us to have “just enough.” Why? Because He is the God Who Is More Than Enough and He wants His children to have more than enough. I don’t want to have just enough peace, I want to overflow in peace. Do you know what happens if I overflow in peace? People will sense God’s peace when they get near me. Do you know what happens if you overflow in joy? People experience joy when they encounter you.

The table of God is full of every good thing. God wants you to feast on His provision today. He wants you to overflow with His goodness so that you have a life that you enjoy that impacts others.
