Your Heart Is Valuable To God!
how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38 (NKJV)
Good Morning!
Your heart is valuable to God. The situations of life can have a long lasting impact on our heart. However, as we have shared this week, the anointing can make your heart whole. God wants you to have a whole heart full of joy, hope, and love.
In describing the anointing upon His life in Luke 4:18-19 (NKJV), Jesus said, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."
Your Savior, your Good Shepherd, is anointed to make your heart whole and bring restoration to your soul. You do not have to walk around as “damaged goods” carrying all of the baggage of your past. Jesus has freedom for you. Your heart is valuable to Him.
Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, I thank you for loving me and for being so good to me. I receive your anointing to heal my heart and I ask that you strengthen my heart. Today, I choose hope and joy. Help me to leave my past in the past. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Earlier this week, I shared a clip from Sunday’s message that reached a lot of people. I’m sharing an extended portion of that clip during today’s podcast. Will you do me a favor? If you’re on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, or Facebook, can you re-share this clip (via the previous links) so more people can be impacted by the good news of what Jesus can do for their heart? Thank you so much!
