The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, 15 To declare that the LORD is upright; [He is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in Him.

Psalm 92:12-15 (NKJV)

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

2025 is your year to thrive. To thrive means to flourish, prosper, advance, make steady progress, blossom, and grow and develop vigorously. In order to thrive, we have to organize our lives. If we are going to make daily steady progress, we have to have a daily schedule that supports our goals and objectives.

We all have schedules and agendas whether we consider ourselves organized or not. Just think about all the things you may have to do this week. Pray. Read the Word. Eat. Go to the gym. Take the kids to school. Time with your spouse. Work. Things you have to do around the house. Errands you have to run. The list can go on and on. It takes a schedule to get everything done. When is the last time you prayed about your schedule?

Sometimes, we schedule things ahead of time. Sometimes, we can make plans, agendas, and schedules on the fly before we even know we have done it. Before we know it, all of those schedules become routines. That is not a bad thing. However, if we never pray about our schedule we miss the help and wisdom of God in our everyday life.

Proverbs 3:5 & 5 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Your schedules and agendas are part of “your ways.” When we acknowledge God, or ask for His thoughts and wisdom, He will step in and show us the best path to take.

Today, take time to talk to God about your schedule. Ask Him if you need to change anything, remove anything, shorten or lengthen times. He will direct your paths, so take time to talk to Him about your daily schedule today!
