Faith In The Morning Daily Affirmation 🌅

I am the salt of the earth. I am the light of this world. Jesus said it so I believe it. I am a carrier of the Glory of God. Today, I will experience the extreme goodness of God. Today, I make myself available for God to show His goodness to others through me.  Today, I am increasing in influence. Today, I will see the goodness of God in my life! Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles. 

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

Last week, we went over the importance of refocusing on your goals for 2025. This week, we are going over Scriptures that will encourage you about God’s plan for your life. You don’t have to stumble through life! You can be led!

Psalm 25 says, “Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. 5 Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. 6 Remember, O LORD, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. ... 8 The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. 9 He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. 10 The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands. ... 12 Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. 13 They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land. 14 The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.”

When we look at this passage, we see how God leads people down the right path. He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right and teaches them His way. He leads those who fear Him down the path they should choose.

When the Scripture refers to fearing God, it is not saying you should be afraid of Him. The Scripture is teaching us that we should live in reverential awe and respect toward God and His ways. One of the benefits of living in the fear of the Lord is that God shows us which path to take.

God doesn’t want you to stumble through life. He wants you to be able to go forward in His plan with clarity. Living in reverential awe and respect toward God will help you move forward with clarity. The fear of the Lord is something that you grow in understanding and in application. It is a daily choice to make God’s Word first place and final authority in your life. Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. I ask that you strengthen me and help me to not grow tired in doing the right things. Grant me clarity concerning your plans for my life and help me move forward in the plan. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
