Today’s Scripture 🍞

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Romans 12:3 (NKJV)

Today, something good is going to happen to me so I expect miracles.

Today’s Devotional 📖

Good Morning,

I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend! Did you know that your faith is like a muscle? Romans 12:3 lets us know that all believers have been given the measure of faith. We all have muscles. However, some of us have developed them intentionally. It’s similar with our faith. We must develop it intentionally.

Have you ever wanted to have faith like another Christian that you admired? It’s not that you need to have their faith, it’s that you need to develop your own faith. In our quest to be faith champions, we have to consistently develop our faith. An athletic champion doesn’t work on their muscles once. They continually develop their muscles throughout their career.

If you go to the gym for the first time, you shouldn’t try to lift the heaviest weight in the gym. Where should you start? With the smallest weights. Why? Your muscles aren’t developed enough to lift the heavy weights. It’s not if you can lift the heavy weights once. It’s can you lift the heavy weights consistently.

Today, I want to encourage you to develop your faith and exercise your faith on purpose. How do you do that? I want you to listen to today’s podcast as I build on this topic and share an example that will help you understand this important topic. You can stream today’s podcast on YouTube, Apple Podcast or Spotify. I’m praying for you! Have a great day!

Today’s Prayer 🙏

Pray this prayer with me today, “Father, thank you for loving me. I believe that you have good plans for my life. Help me to develop my faith and become a faith champion. Help me to stay consistent and faithful. I believe I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Something good is going to happen to you today. Keep moving forward! Want more encouragement? Check the links below and share them with others. Have a great day!
