Ephesians 1:15-17

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

The Glory of God is the majesty, power, and splendor of God. It is heavy and filled with everything good.

wisdom - correctly applied knowledge and good judgment

The first time the spirit of wisdom was mentioned in Scripture is what connected to a person’s creative ability and skill. It was shown in the artisans that were part of the first generation of Israel living in the wilderness.

revelation - uncovering, insight, disclosure,

When you think of revelation, think of a curtain on stage being pulled back. When you think of revelation, think of an x-ray.

knowledge of Him - Grace and peace is multiplied to you through the knowledge of Him. Also, this is God’s knowledge concerning your life.
Ephesians 1:18 (NKJV)the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones)

enlightened - illuminated, flooded with light

hope - confident expectation of good

calling - invitation

riches - abundance

in the saints - the glory is now within you. The same glory that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you!

Eph 1:19-23 (NKJV)

and what [is] the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated [Him] at His right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all [things] under His feet, and gave Him [to be] head over all [things] to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Eph 2:4-10 (NLT)

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

The Ephesians 1 Prayer For You To Pray:

Father,
I pray that you, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of my understanding are being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, that I may know what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in me, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power 20 which You worked in Christ and me when You raised us from the dead and seated us at Your right hand in the heavenly places and put all things under our feet.
